Famed Mexican singer-songwriter Natalia LaFourcade just won a 2026 Grammy for her newest album “Cancionera”. I am so thrilled for her as I know she poured so much of herself into it: the writing, recording and the music videos that go with it.
“Cancionera” won in the category of Best Latin Pop album against the following artists:
Rauw Alejandro – Cosa Nuestra
Andrés Cepeda – Bogotá (Deluxe)
Karol G – Tropicoqueta
Alejandro Sanz – ¿Y ahora qué?
LaFourcade also gave birth to her first child at the end of 2025. She is coming to Vancouver, Canada in June 2026 for two concerts at the Chan Centre at the University of British Columbia and it appears there are still tickets available. You can listen to “Cancionera” aquí or by searching for it on the platform of your choice. ¡Muchas felicidades Natalia!
