Today is Centro Esperanza’s 17th Anniversary!
Final preparations are being made for the celebration as this is the first time ever that CE is celebrating its anniversary publicly. Tonight we’ll be presenting our work at El Hotel Costa del Sol.
I have so much to write about, but no time to do so. I am very busy working on finishing a video about La Cometa Lectora (to be presented to the Lambayeque Regional Government this Friday!), wrapping up projects and programs and writing funding reports before Christmas. Not to mention that on Saturday, the Christmas celebrations will begin with the 89 youth in the Project Chiclayo programs…
Here’s a typical sight during my 20-minute walk to the Centro Esperanza office in the centre of Chiclayo.
I prefer walking on the streets parallel to the main avenues because they are quite peaceful and offer a unique glimpse into the past.

May you have a not-too-stressful beginning to the last month of 2014.
